CSI & Real Forensics: Did We Get Fooled Again?

Back in May I blogged an article entitled CSI:Miami & Real Forensics: We Won’t Get Fooled Again.

I raised the point that the CSI series did much more than entertain. It helped educate and raise awareness about the real value of forensics and crime scene investigation to crime proving.

While the cases portrayed were fictitious and were solved within the allotted 42 minutes or so, there was something real and special that emerged from what some have called the “CSI Effect”.
