Grant Advisory Services
Every year, a range of public and private funding entities such as the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP) and the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) provide grants for crime-gun intelligence initiatives employing ATF’s National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN).
Forensic Technology is very pleased to offer free grant advisory services led by a in-house funding consultant with extensive experience developing successful proposals. See below for an overview of funding opportunities. Or, if you have already identified an opportunity, we can help improve your application by:
- Advising how to organize your proposal-writing team
- Helping to develop an outline and timeline
- Providing relevant technical specifications
- Ensuring your proposal meets the objectives of the funding program.
Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN)
Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) is a federal program led by the US Attorney’s Office in the 94 districts funded by the US Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance (USDOJ/BJA). PSN is designed to create and foster safer neighborhoods in each USAO district. Each district is required to establish a PSN Task Force to foster partnerships among local, state, tribal, and federal law enforcement agencies-and the communities they serve. To participate in a PSN Task Force, contact the US Attorney’s Office in your district. Funding is available to local agencies through the PSN fiscal agent. Find your district here.
