Alvaro Venegas
Since joining the company in 2006, Mr. Venegas has successfully led multiple areas within Forensic Technology, including Program Management, Supply Chain and Production, Logistics, Quality Assurance, IT, Security, and Software Deployment.
In his most recent role as Vice President of Operations, Mr. Venegas contributed to core mandates including taking the lead on Forensic Technology’s strategic plan.
With 25 years of experience in advanced technology and international environments, Mr. Venegas has been a driving force behind the operational efficiency, cutting-edge technology and outstanding products that have built Forensic Technology’s international reputation.
Before joining Forensic Technology, Mr. Venegas held roles as Director of the Project Management Offices at engineering firms, developing automated manufacturing solutions for a broad customer base.
Mr. Venegas is a professional engineer who holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from the Université de Montréal’s École Polytechnique and is a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec.
Nathalie Belzile
Mrs. Belzile leads human resources activities, in addition to initiatives related to its corporate culture. She is surrounded by a team of professionals who ensure that leading-edge policies, practices and workplace environment are conducive to making Forensic Technology a high-performing and results-driven organization with a clear focus on employee engagement. She has over 20 years’ experience in which merges & acquisitions, transformation and organizational development, talent management and working relations were opportunities she have been involved closely. Prior to joining Forensic Technology, Mrs. Belzile held human resources executive and management positions with Intact, ING, Via Rail, Microcell Solution, and Canada Bread. She is a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés du Québec and she earned a Bachelor of Industrial Relations from Université de Montréal (1989).
Serge Labrecque
In 1992, Mr. Labrecque started working at Walsh Automation Inc. in the pulp and paper plant automation sector before transferring to Forensic Technology as the software developer expert for the next generation, Windows® based version of IBIS®. In 2000, he decided to take on the role of IBIS® TRAX™ Product Manager in the Marketing group, which led to the creation of the IBIS TRAX product family. He left the Marketing group in 2004 to head the development effort as the Director of Product Development and Chief Technology Officer, which resulted in the evolution of IBIS into today’s high-definition 3D platform—IBIS® TRAX-HD3D™. Mr. Labrecque received his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the École Polytechnique of the University of Montreal (1990).
Martin Pelletier
Mr. Pelletier leads a team of accounting and business finance professionals responsible for all financial activities of the company. He has 20 plus years of experience, more specifically in financial reporting and controlling, financial performance evaluation, financial planning and analysis, strategic planning and budgeting, investments and mergers & acquisitions. Before joining the company, Mr. Pelletier held several financial management positions at international businesses, principally at CAE where he worked for 18 years. He is a member of l’Ordre des CPA du Québec and of the CFA Institute. Mr. Pelletier holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, with specialization in professional accounting from HEC Montréal.
Stacy Stern
Stacy leads all global sales and marketing activities. During her 20 years with the company, Stacy has occupied a series of increasingly demanding roles that have allowed her to develop special expertise. She spent 15 years as Regional Sales Director for North America, the Caribbean and Australia, where she was responsible for business development including defining customer needs and gathering regional market intelligence. Stacy also oversaw the successful implementation of a nationwide program run by the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. The holder of a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Cell and Molecular Biology from Concordia University (Montreal), and a Master of Forensic Science from National University (San Diego), Stacy is uniquely qualified to overcome the scientific and business challenges of the forensic sciences market.
Francis Leblanc
Mr. Leblanc leads a team of engineers and specialists who provide a dedicated support to Ultra Forensic Technology customers in their quest to fight gun crime. In order to support the company’s unmatched cutting-edge technology and outstanding products, Mr. Leblanc and is team of professionals are driving a vision based on great customer experience and operational efficiency worldwide. His diverse team includes project management, deployment, security, direct and remote support, quality, validation, testing and training. Mr. Leblanc brings a passion for analytics and accomplishing challenging goals as a team. He joined Forensic Technology in 2021 with 12 years of experience in the aerospace industry where he led a major support program for the Canadian Armed Forces. In 2008, Mr. Leblanc retired after a 21-year career in the military where he held leadership positions as a tactical helicopter pilot and in Special Forces operations.
Nina Jahnke
Mrs. Jahnke leads the Legal Services and Contracts department and ensures compliance with all applicable laws, including anti-corruption, anti-money laundering and privacy. She has over 20 years’ of experience acquired within large multinationals and financial institutions, in particular in commercial and corporate law, advising on commercial transactions, acquisitions, intellectual property, corporate matters and compliance, in a Canadian and international context. Prior to joining Ultra Forensic Technology, Mrs. Jahnke held several in-house positions, at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, Bombardier Aerospace, PSP Investments and Logistec Corporation.
She is a member of the Quebec Bar since 2001, and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Montreal. She also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Geneva and a Specialized Graduate Diploma in Business Law from the University of Montreal.
